I have a Philips 37pf9731D/10 full HDTV. Yes the picture on an hdtv is really nice especially for movies. But i still have doubt if the gaming industrie is ready for hdtv. You clearly see more detail in games, but you also see more clearly the graphical "faults" in a game, while on an sdtv you see the "faults" not that good. Don't get me wrong, i love hdtv gaming.
I've got a 20 inch Citizen SDTV and Gears looks great. I'll get an HDTV when they become affordable because I think $1000 Canadian(+14% tax) is too much for a 32 inch TV. I'd maybe find it more worth the money if I used my TV for more than just playing videogames.chipface-zMy friend told me that some major store (futureshop Possibly) is selling a 52" Sharp HDTV for $2000 CADs so if your looking for bang for your buck go with that. Or just wait till boxing day, this year had some rediculus sales on HDTVs.
im on sdtv and it kinda sucks after experiencing some of the games on hd...
i just havent got the money!
