360 problems at start up

When I start my 360, it freezes and artifacts appear on the screen (A.K.A. red and black checkers on the screen). Has anyone had this problem?

Sorry, its only before the inevitable, this is will soon become Red Ring of Death, if you keep on trying. Its close to dead.

Yea, your GPU is screwed. Call MS or take it back to whatever store you bought it from (if its still under the return policy)

On oblivion I once had a wierd colour problem. But never on Start up. Nothing happened to mine so I don't think anything will happen to yours.
