so idk if this has happened to anyone else but help would be appreciated.

story goes like this my friend bought a 360 racing wheel today and we took it to my House to play. At first everythings okay but i notice something weird the instructions say insert the software cd first the use it but there was no software cd in the box just a forza 2 demo disc so we tried to use the wheel without installing any software.

it worked perfectly on forza and the grid force feedback and everything even though we didnt install anything so after about 3 hours of playing the batt dies we werent using the ac cable because it was too far away. we plug it into the ac so we could continue t play but noticed that the wheel had stopped function correctly.

Everything still worked except the steering, its like the calibration was jacked up or something the wheel began to recognize any wheel movement as hard turns. So if you tried to turn the wheel a little to the left it would act in game as if you had turned the wheel all the way to left and same thing with the right. Its completely unusable this way.

so does anybody know whats up or do we have to take it back????

wow this old but no we couldn't solve the problem. In the end im sure it was defective as we ended up taking the wheel back to the store to get a replacement and never had any problems with the new one.
