360 Themes?

How come xbl don't carry free themes? I found a few free themes but nothing of worth in my eyes. I know on the PSN you can get lots of themes for free and also you can go on the web and find free themes. Are there any sites out there to get free themes for my 360 or is the only option to buy them?

It don't really matter that much to me but I do get bored looking at the same theme all the time. Just wished there were quality free ones available.

almost all the themes suck, its not like they have the time to make a qauilty theme, even if we pay for this crap :(

I'm not sure what they have now, but over the years I've gotten some good free ones. I've got a Halo 3, Halo ODST drop theme, Bioshock 1 and 2 Themes, Assasin's Creed 2 one, Modern Warfare 2, Resident Evil 5, Batman AA. Dead Space, a GeoW2 one, and some good holiday ones. I've never paid for one of them, plus there are quite a few product ones, but I've never downloaded those.There also free ones for different movies when they are released.

All you have to do is keep an eye on Live, or your email and you will get them. Oh also forgot that I got a good one with Alan Wake, but that came free in the game case. I'm sure I'm missing some. However I do agree with the TC there are more free ones readily available on PSN than on Live.

Xbox 360 is proprietary. You can only get themes through Marketplace. Alternatively, you can use an image of your own and have it as your background.
