I'm not sure you can, I've tried streaming them from my mobile before and it wouldn't play due to the file format and type.

The xbox should be able to stream videos in MP4 format (H.264/AVC......usually what iTunes is using) the system might prompt that a free media download is needed (2.5 megs or something) it should work if it is in MP4 or WMV format.

Without having a video iPod here i cant double check it but ive watched MP4 videos streamed from my XP pc no problem.

I ripped my movies from my DVD collection and converted them to .mp4 and I don't see em...

Which codec did you encode them into? mp4 is the container but there are still a few different codecs.

If you get hold of x264 to encode them into H264/AVC that should play quite nicely.

use the pc connect option then you can access all the videos from your hard drive.
