This happens to me all the time when I turn on my 360 for the first time of the day. It says an error message and the bottom right ring flashes red and it won't work. I turn it off and on and it works again but still. Am I in danger? :oSuperbustacapopen the window

I purchased my Xbox 360 on 2-2-2007 and I've only played it for about 2 weeks a few days ago it started making weird noises like it was eating the disk & now it's already died on me today, I get the 3 red lights blinking and the console won't even boot to the menu.. it does nothing. This is my second 360 so far the first 360 lasted about 3 months or so before it stopped reading my Xbox 360 games. Oh why Microsoft why? :( I still love Xbox 360 so I'll have to return it to amazon.com for a replacement...thank god it's still under Amazons 30 day warranty or I would've had to use Microsoft's horrid customer service.

well I'd pay mocrosoft to send me a referb one over buying a new one down the road (save a lot of money), make sure if you do call up microsoft to ask them if you will have a year waranty on the new referb one you get from them. Other then that try looking for local shops that will fix the 360 for you for cheap.Cujo31
Do you know if the year warranty just starts when you register your console? Because I registered my console a few months ago even though I've had it for a year and a half almost.Your warranty starts from the day of purchase and ends 12 months later, regardless of whenever you register it.
