360`S Strategy SUCCESS?

The 360 is selling5 sku`s from amazon, the PS3 sells one sku. Witch means that mathematically 360 sells more than the PS3, DO THE MATH.

PS3 is in 9th place.
360 premium hdmi 12th place.
360 elite 14th place.
360 premium 22th place.
360 core somewhere slightly below 100th place.
360 Special edition undetermined.

= THE 360 SELLS better THAN PS3.

Well I own a PS3 and an Elite 360...

There are too many games on the 360 for the PS3 to overtake it IMO. I still think the PS3 will do better than it has so far once more exclusive titles are released - but it won't catch the 360. And now that the 360 CORE is priced the same as the Wii in Australia (maybe it'll be priced the same as the Wii here before too long as well)...

There is no doubt that MS has the best marketing strategy in this generation of consoles.

Well all that plus it has almost no good games and it's hard to find a store that even sells PS3 games.

It's not that they can't spend $500 on a PS3, it's just that most people are smart enough not too.

You have no grasp on reality or money in the real world if you think you can compare those two. Can I afford a PS3? Yes. Is it a smart move financially? No.

Oh yeah, thats a pretty good comparision :| ...maybe people can't afford such extorniate amounts of money for something so materialistic because they have to save for something real. Like a '450k' house.

I save the equivalent to buying a PS3 a month, to save for a deposit to buy a flat, so excuse me if i don't have cash to burn...
