I so expected it by now that I'm not even pissed. In the meantime, I'm looking for a Wii if someone knows where I can get one in the DC area, i need one so I can use it when my 360 dies every now and then. The funniest thing (if there's anything funny about this story) is that I was just reading what Bill Gates said after CES that the 360 will be the most reliable piece of hardware, I'd replace hardware with another word, use your imagination! :D 2008 looks ugly... wait a second, in 2007 and 2006 i had the same problem as well! haha that is a great way to define the feeling of losing your 360. Comfortably numb, I know I certainly would be. But if my 360 gave out again I'd probly exchange it for a PS3.

Well, I personally would be contempt with the gaming aspects of the PS3 and am vastly interested in the media capabilities of the device aswell. Right now as long as my 360 holds up, I'm game with Microsoft. My personal take in which I do not feel the need to be supported, backed, or flamed haha.

I think what's happening is we're getting into this cycle of them sending us USED/REPAIRED 360s instead of new ones and it's never-ending. Oh well, 3 weeks and counting...

The falcon has jus as many issues as the ones before it. They key issue is ur asking me to buy another 360 when I already paid for one and the warranty. Having said that, if the Falcon is truly reliable, I might buy it one day and at the same time get kicked out of the house :D

Yep, I can't justify getting a PS3 right now even though seems like Bluray has won, but I'd rather get a standalone player and let my game console for gaming only, the less miles on it, the better. However, getting a Wii might not be a bad option right, that's if you can find one.

Or are these dying after 10 to 12 hour gaming sessions? And exactly how much better is this Falcon chip then the original...I mean..is there a certain % chance it decreases your system of dying?? Any info is appreciated before I shell out almost 400 bucks for a system.

I played mine for 1 to 2 hours a week. And it took a year and 2 days to die. Its gone getting repaired right now. My question is, Why are they still breaking after getting new cooler parts?
