Has anyone played with any good 3rd party headsets? I just broke my second headset by accidentally sitting on it (dumb I know but I sat down really softly and jumped as soon as I felt something, knowing what it was, but too late). The problem is the crappy plastic bit that goes around your head - it is way too fragile. Are there any flexible ones?

I don't really want to spend a fortune so I'm looking for a wired one, although the bluetooth set looks cool (100 bucks though).

I'm actually looking for one myself as my headset just stopped working. From all the reviews I have read the Plantronics seem to be the better choice although even they get mixed reviews. I'm going to check Gamestop tomorrow or tonight for a set. If I find something good I will message you.

I bought some mic from a pharmacy i was at one time while i was waiting for my prescription and it was only 7$! It had the right kind of plug-in so i bought it and its been workign ever since. Definatly has lasted longer then the M$ ones i bought over the last 5 years.

You can pretty much use any mic that has the right adaptor to fit into the 360 controller.
