im really stuck between 4 games that i want right now but im trying to save what money i make.

Splinter Cell double agent FEAR Gears of War Smack down vs Raw 07.
I know Gears is a big phenomenon, but for some reason i dont HAVE to have it immediately but the fact that its so huge makes me think i should get it becasue i may be missing out. Splinter Cell has been one of my fave series'. But Chaos theory, suprisingly, wasn't amazing to me. It was good but i wasn't blown away. So im nervous this one is like that. Although, it just went down to 30 or 40 bucks at target, i forget. Fear just seems like my game, i love scary games/hi tech games. But people say its short and repetitive so that makes me weary. Smackdown vs Raw games are great. the TV shows suck, to me, but the games are great for pick up and play. This one is kind of sticking out to me but there is so much praise for gears that im not sure if i want this first.
HELP. hopefully somebody here has all 4 and can give me a good reccomendation. Sorry for any typos, i'm freezing and i can't type too well when im cold.
Gears of War is the way to go, I have had it since it came out and the online is addicting. So if you have live get gow and it will keep you busy while you make more money for the rest.
wel since Gears was the only good choice in that list, get it. If you want a GOOD game, get rainbow 6:Vegas, its my favorite game and im not even a high rank yet

once you beat gears' sp (fairly short) on all difficulties, the game will lose its luster. what really keeps gears going is the online co-op and mp. you're better off getting splinter cell for now since you're not getting xbl for a while. i don't really know about sdvr, but if you're a fan of wrestling games, get that. fear was a really good game but again you won't have mp for a while.
If your a huge WWF(E) (WWF is way better) then your going to like this one. I rented it and I liked it, controller was a little getting used to..but overall good stuff about it. Having DX in there too..........GOOD STUFF
I haven't played the wrestling game but I own the other three - gears is the best with splinter cell and fear being about a tie for second - this was different than the old splinter cells (lots of daylight, not as much incentive to gain stealth ratings, much more liberal use of deadly force) but I liked most of the changes they made. Fear was very linear and the recycled environments got old, but the combat was very addicting and overall it was a great game.
Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Gears is a great game and all but there are a couple of problems in my opinion. If you don't like playing repetitive games/gametypes don't get Gears.
Gears is good, but if you dont have live, then it won't last you a very long time. FEAR is very good, very creepy, and better looking than the PC version. From what I hear Splinter Cell for the 360 is one of the better ones to come out. Cant help you with Smack down vs Raw 07.
Seeing how I'm the only one who has seemed to play SD! vs. Raw 07, I'll give my opinions. Single player its pretty solid. Its a good pick up and play game, but it may take you a while to get used to the new controls. I'd rent it first. I liked it as my first 360 game, but its a rent to see if you like it.

Out of those four games I would go with Splinter Cell Double Agent, as it is the most unique game of those four. As with the other games, to me Gears of War and F.E.A.R. are just shooter games like all the other shooter games just having different storylines, and for Wrestling I can't say as I really do not like Wrestling games.

Yes I own and I have played Gears of War and it is not that big of a deal to me, I mean yes it is the 2nd best looking Xbox360 game(The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion being the 1st) that there is but that is it. I am not like 99% of people whom own and/or have played Gears of War that fell in to the hype, as I only bought it because it is a shooter game. To me the best shooter game on the Xbox360 in terms of gameplay is Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, and when Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 comes out then that will be the best shooter game on the Xbox360.
Gears or Double agent, if you are a shooter, action packed game fan then defin go with gears because it is simply amazing but if you like sneaky and stealthy games then DA is the one you want
smackdown vs raw is really fun. im a huge fan or wrestling.. multiplayer is the best part about it, u gotta have friends to really enjoy this game.
honestly, single player sucks as far as story goes.. instead of having one long story like before, u play mini-stories consisting of 5 matches or so each and its always the usual "do u wanna be good or bad, u win one, u loose one, a title comes into play, u win it." Woo hoo! gets old pretty fast to me anyway.. but the gameplay is amazingly fun, learn to stack up 3 tables and a lader, suplex a guy off that through an announcer table.. never gets old (takes some teamwork tho)
Listen, you gotta go with Double Agent for now. I mean Gears is great and everything, but after a while it's gonna get alittle old. Me, I bought Gears and enjoyed it. I played it twice on the first two difficulty settings, but then when it came to playing through a third time I didn't feel up to it. The online is cool, but alot of times your gonna come across guys who like to cheat with the sniper, or the rocket launcher, and the fact that you gotta wait after being killed instead of respawning is just dumb if you ask me.
