4 red lights of... not death????

I went to play my 360 the other day, and I could hear the sound, but there was no picture... it said something like "no signal" on my tv. I thought maybe the av cables in the back just came loose.. so I check them, they were pushed all the way in, and I fiddled with them to make sure they were. I checked the back of my xbox also.. everything connected.

4 red lights come on.. I guess like the 3 lights of death, only it was 4. I check in my manuel and it says it's a connection problem with the av cables into the back of the 360. I re connected the cord but no luck.

Where do I go from here? How do I know if it's my av cables or my 360 thats not working? Do I have to send it in now?

Its most likely the cables. Replace them and keep the receipt, if that not the problem, return the cord and get a return authorization number from ms to send your 360 in.

wait first. if any of your friends have a 360 rob i mean borrow there av cables to see if it is the av cables before you go and buy some new one.XdeadlythiefX

That's probably the best idea unless you don't have a friend with a 360
