6 stars 5 mins acheivement (gta 4)

Just saw this video http://www.gamespot.com/video/933037/6191482/grand-theft-auto-iv-gameplay-movie-10 on gamespot, while I didn't understand the 2 for nothing thing that was said, I did earn this acheivement last night a differant way. Get a speed boat, drive to the third island (if it is still not open), get the six stars, then speed around the islands (the ones that are safe) 2 or 3 times, and viola! easy acheivement!!

yeah u can also do that at the very beginning of gta4 go to the bridge where it is sealed off, go behind the walls then speed off to the airport n do couple of laps

but thats boring i perfer to find an alley way where the cops can only come in from the front, go into cover n start blind firing with my pistol then when the swat comes switch it to my ak/m4 that is much funner kill cops for 5 mins instead of driving around lol thats how i got mine

If you go in the tunnel in North Bohan ( the gardens) I did it the cops did not reach me.

I got it by sitting at the top of my stairs in my Alderney safe house.. really easy if you just watch the door with an M4 or shotty. Finally got the 5 barrel rolls achievement last night too!kerrman

Can you tell me how you got the barrel roll achievement? I tried using the banshee at the airport but I couldn't.

Well to be honest, I did EXACTLY that. Banshee at the airport, haha. Hit the yellow ramps (for max speed you need to pass two ramps and hit the third usually by then you'll be near or at top speed), but you need to make sure you hit the ramp with no more than half your car of you won't spin fast enough.

I don't know if anyone said this but this is by far the easiest way to get it.

Go to the fancy apartment in the middle island that you take the elevator to get to your room. Go outside and just keep killing til about a 5 star maybe 6 if you wanna be risky. If you only have a 5 star go back into the hotel(don't go up the elevator) shoot cops coming in or shoot the cops outside the doors. Once you have a 6 star take the elevator and do whatever for 5 minutes. The cops will not go up the elevator so they will never get you. Then once you get the achievement you can go to your bed, save, load and your stars will be gone.

I didn't, that would be VERY hard. I got killed shortly after I unlocked the achievement.
