TMNT was kinda fun, try the trial, it'll take an hour to complete but who says you can't replay it? Haven't tried Alien Hominid but Geometry Wars is addictive and really fun.
like you said in your initial post, get either geometry wars and tmnt, or alien hominid. Or you can do what i did and get both, because all 3 games are just incredible
