Guitar Hero World Tour, it just feels like the same old thing. Pretty much ruined any chance of ever getting another music game.
World Tour was a weird one indeed. It had some awesome songs and some not so great. The things that I liked about it were the general look about it, the cheap (in-game) easy to modify Create A Rockers (besides the faces which never seem to change) and the bright colours about it. My favourite things about the game were the Misery Business song and the inclusion of Hayley Williams! :D. No music game can stop me from buying another though... matter of fact, just the other day I bought a Song Pack 2 (it's a disk with achievements and you can transfer the songs to Rock Band 1 and 2). I never get tired of music :P.Guitar Hero World Tour, it just feels like the same old thing. Pretty much ruined any chance of ever getting another music game.

I rented 'Far Cry 2' last summer.. 20 hours in; and I just lost interest.. Should of stuck with the whole feral theme.
Same thing happened with 'Assassin's Creed' and 'Mass Effect'
'Viva Pinata' too.
Guitar Hero: World Tour, the game wasn't bad but they overcomplicated the whole music creater system just a little bit and the songs weren't all that great, I also never liked the character models in Guitar Hero, they seem to look perpetually obnoxious.
Far Cry Predator Instincts. That game is impossible / I don't care enough to spend more than the 10 hours I put into it already without getting any achievements.facetious_ca
I actually managed to beat both stories on the hardest difficulty. Not really sure why I put myself through that. I don't regret buying the game, though, as I spent less than $10 on it.
I didn't buy it, but I wanted this game. I loved Devil May Cry 4 and was hoping for something similar... I didn't even finish the demo. 3 minutes in (after the tutorial bit) I felt like I was watching a Steven Seagal movie.Bayonetta. I was gravely disapointed with this game.

Nice... what game would that be? :).None. The last time I bought a game I regretted was over a decade ago.

Far Cry Predator Instincts. That game is impossible / I don't care enough to spend more than the 10 hours I put into it already without getting any achievements.facetious_caI had played Far Cry 2 a lot and then one day when I was still in the Far Cry mood, I saw a demo of this game on the Marketplace. I was happy indeed! but I downloaded the demo and... major disappointment. The controls felt weird, it looked weird and the gameplay was just simply annoying... I hope Far Cry 3 is what Far Cry 2 should have been...
Supreme Commander and Baja. Both cost me £17 sold the 2 for £5 the next week to some poor child. They were just poor games

Star Wars Rebellion. That game sucked my balls in 1998, and it still sucks my balls.
My story:
LucasArts had made some great PC games in the mid 90s: X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Dark Forces, and Jedi Knight. At the time, I played Jedi Knight and X-Wing Versus TIE Fighter online and was in a clan for the latter. So obviously I was quite a fan of the Star Wars games. Then I heard that a grand strategy game was coming out. I was like, "Master of Orion with Star Wars?!? This is going to be the greatest thing since boobies!!" (Palantas was 15 at the time.)
Holy God, was I mistaken. The game was half-finished. While Master of Orion II remains quite playable today, Star Wars Rebellion would suck as a free browser game. The GameSpot review sums the thing up really well, with comments like, "If the developers had set out to create a more Byzantine interface, they could not possibly have done so." The tactical combat mode was an embarrassing joke, like you couldn't believe this was coming out of the same publishing house that gave us TIE Fighter.
Anyway, this is turning into a blog, so I'll wrap it up. That was the last time I bought a game without checking GameSpot and getting opinions from my friends, and that's the last time I was disappointed by a game: 1998.
Dead Rising. That game was garbage.....orb_03_2006That game was great man. Just make sure you save more often, lol, and get better at it. Anyways, back on topic. I'll say Hour of Victory, now that game was unplayable.
[QUOTE="orb_03_2006"]say Hour of Victory, now that game was unplayable.XXGamerfanXXAww, man LOL :P. I am one of the VERY small minority who actually enjoyed that, despite some annoying glitches :P (I love WWII FPS games though so, you know...). Matter of fact earlier on I thought of starting that game again tomorrow as I haven't played it for ages, and I think I am going to :P.
FarCry 2 is so godawfully bad. It seems cool at first with the weapons and veichles, but the health system is a complete joke and the aiming is SOOO STIFF its impossible to aim accuratley. Why doesent every shooter copy MW2's aiming mechanics? (Im actullay somewhat dissapointed with MW2, but its controls are PERFECT)
