Ok so I live in New Zealand, lets get that straight.

My friend is giving me a deal, hes offering me an American 360, Halo 2, Halo 3 and 2 controllers. All I have to do is trade him NBA 2K9 and Fight Night Round 3 on PS3.

Ok so what I'm wondering is will the online work? is it worth buying games off Ebay?

the thing is he doesnt care. his cousin gave it to him for free cause his cousin wanted an elite xbox and ps3.

The format might be different. With the American 360, you may only be able to play NTSC games, not sure how it is in New Zealand, but I'm going to guess you're PAL, and you won't be able to play those games on the American 360. iareconfuse
