Hey guys i'm new to console gaming and recently got myself a 360. As of yet i'm not on LIVE so i have a few simple questions.

1. Does games buyed have a serial code you enter to allow it with your LIVE account so it can't be used again and this stops buying pre-owneds

2. Does LIVE have a big community similar to PC gaming, example Call of Duty 4 can i get into a game at anytime of the day or night.

3. I've been using keyboard and mouse PC gaming for many years now and i'm finding it difficult to keep up with my friends reactions on fps games how long is the learning curve for the 360 gamepad?

sorry if the english isn't too good but i hope my questions are readable and dont seem stupid.

Here are my answers to your questions, to the best of my ability:

1. I know of no such thing since I have a used copy of Gears of War and I have been online with that game multiple times, so I would say no.

2. There is an enormous community. I don't know about CoD4 since I haven't been online since I bought it, but Halo 3 always has hundreds of thousands of people on and I am always able to get into a game so I would suspect the same thing with CoD4.

3. I don't know about your third question since I never was a huge PC gamer, but I would think that with practice, you could get proficient and maybe even be able to hook your controller up and take some of your friends on on the PC.

Hope this helps you out.

1. Preowned games work on live.

2. You should find a game very quickly, especially on a popular game like COD4.

3. You should get used to the controls very quickly. They feel natural and so are easy to pick up and learn.

1) no

2) yes the community is huge you wont have trouble finding a game

3) give yourself a few weeks and you'll get the hang of it. then, keep playing and you will improve fast, or at least enough to keep up with other players.

1. I have never heard of anything with serials codes.

2. Live is a huge community...Call of Duty 4 is huge right now and Halo 3 will always be huge

3.a long as you stick to basic control schemes such as halo and cod4 then becoming used to the controller should be very easy...

Good luck with everything and i hope all is well
