Alright i'm sick of the same old shooter games with sci-fi themes or realistic, so i want to get a game that will really be fun and be able to make me jump every once and awhile. Besides FEAR i've never played a "scary" game and i didn't think FEAR was freaky so try to think of one scarier than that.
I have put all my friends in front of Condemned in HD with surround sound and every one of them has almost crapped their pants. Their are parts of that game that are super freaky.
F.E.A.R. had some pretty good freaky moments. My bro suggests Condemend to me all the time but with all the new titles it's on my back burner. Of course the new Resident Evil is gonna be badass.

yeah...condemned, for sure.
i'm anxious for the sequel, but i haven't liked what i've seen so far throughout production. the screens i've seen are more 'sci-fi horror', and i'm aware condemned definetly had sci-fi features, but it also had that gritty slum city feel with yellow teeth and rusted scenes that i just haven't seen yet in the sequel.
condemned is about a serial killer...and you hunt him down Its pretty good, theres a demo on live, I think its still up If you can get it, I'd suggest RE for the GC, the graphics are really good, don't worry about that, but its the scariest game I've ever played
Lol, none of these games listed have "freaked me out", they have however made me jump, which isnt an incredible feat. Am i missing something, or do i just have balls of steel?
Try Call of Cthulhu. I never got to beat it, but my friend did. He said it was very disturbing even until the end and the first 3 or so hours I played made me agree. This post may leave many scratching their heads or laughing because it's "Cthulhu", but it is the FREAKYiest game. The graphics aren'tgreatfor even original xbox standards and it isn't by any means a shooter. I can't recommend this game enough though. It has the Most intense escape sequences (more intense than a RE$ boss fight). Itprobably won'tmake you jump, but it will cause you to peak around every corner of your house, not knowing what you were expecting to see. Also-it's made by Bethesda :D. Peoplemay disagreewith this post, but there's no denying how disturbing this game really is.
Condemned: Criminal Origins + midnight + alone = a good freakin out time!
It's an amazing game and creepy as all hell. If you don't find it creepy wait until the school levels. Oh good times. and it should be nice and cheap to pick up too. I also recommend Bioshock, it's freaky at the beginning, but after the first few levels the novelty wears off for the creepyness, but it's still a great game.
condemned for sure, but i just got into Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, which is hella scary. It's a bit slow at first, like you don't actually get a weapon until 1/4 of the way thru the game, but you can go insane by seeing people on meathooks and you'll eventually start to hallucinate if u see too many disturbing sights. Best of all, ts based on the Lovecraft books. There's a little girl whose dad locked her mom in the attic because she got mutated and then you accidentally set her free and the mom eats her daughter. A little too descriptive, but an amazing game all the less. Its backwards compatible on the 360.
ya i own and played bioshock it is a great game but see that didn't even freak me out so i want something that'll get my heart pumping. so far the winner is condemed.

Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly is an old Xbox game but it works in the 360 and it is so friggin scary.
