P R E Y is amazing. My eyes water when i play it, it's so visually intense, and it's one of the few FPS games that i'm actually looking forward to playing all the way through more than once.
There's been a lot of games I have loved on the 360, but with one I played it through from beginning to end in two sittings - Condemned. Not necessarily the best game on the 360 but one I certainly got hooked on.
Other than 360 games I'd have to go with KOTOR, WOW, Little Big Adventure 2 and Monkey Island.
Elder Scrolls IV oblivion.. that game seriously took longer to beat than any other 360 game, and it didnt have online play and it was STILL that good.. now that is what you want when something is born with greatness and nothing more needed
For me the first one to impress was really COD2. The sensation of being a part of the squad in the middle of a war was something I NEVER experienced with another game....after that more games that really hooked me were : Burnout 3, RB6 Vegas, Gears, Condemmed and Oblivion.
Rainbow Six Vegas... what an awesome game. I loved the campaign and didn't get into the multiplayer aspect of it much, but I will before everyone abandons every game there is justto play Halo 3.
At the moment Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. For some dumb reason I never got around to playing it of either Gamecube when it was released or PS2. I'm actually happy I am playing it through for the first time now because the Wii controls are pretty damn good. To answer your question for what 360 games really pulled me in I would have to say Kameo and Call of Duty 2 during launch, and Oblivion, Rainbow 6, and Gears Co-Op. Forza 2 has not left my disc tray in a while as well.
Oblivion is the only game that i got all 1000 achievements for. now i just have to update my account information and ill be able to tget the last 250 for shivering isles :D
Well, for 360 games i'd have to say the Gears of War campaign was pretty good, wasnt the best i've seen but it was pretty damn good. I think what really got me on crack was the original Halo campaign, what a mind tripper. As well as Kotor 1, fantastic story line. The suffering was a mind tripper as well. Chrono Trigger, ff10. SO far in recent 360 games i havent seen much that has just blown my mind, Gears wouldve been better if they had more background on the main game, but i'm sure they will in the second one.
