my friend wants to sell me his 360 because hes moving out and needs the money.

first off hes giving me a core system, a hard drive, a wired controller, lost planet, need for speed carbon and most wanted and 1 or 2 other games....the system is in good condition as far as i no, i played it and it seemed fine to me.

i was also wondering if since the system was bought at christmas, what are the chances of it being all glitched like the launch systems? idk if he has a waranty

its all for $300

I bought my 360 in October of last year and have yet to have any problems with it. It sounds like a really good deal to me.

sounds like a good deal to me... i wouldn't worry too much about the system being messed up or anything, you should probably ask him about the warranty situation though just in case

They have a one year manufacturer warranty.. If anything happens to it, call Microsoft.. they ask for the serial # on the back, then they see when it was manufactured and will give you a box with free shipping to get it repaired. I'd say go for it!

Hey, I'm sure he's a swell guy and everything, but that's a steep price.  $300 is the cost of the original core system, brand new, with controller.  Those games (do you like them ALL?) aren't really worth $60 a piece unless you're willing to go right out and buy them brand new.

If money is tight and you only have $300, sure, it sounds like an OK deal.  But if you have $500 sitting around and you're thinking of buying a 360, well, you could get a premium system (which you want, believe me) and your choice of games.

He won't get this much money from anyone else, including eBay.  So if he wants to be a good friend and you want to help him out, give him $200.

$300 is too much.

You'd be a fool NOT to take the deal.  Just add everything up.

You're friends, why not?

If it's got a hard drive, then it's probably worth it.  Otherwise that HD is costing you another $100, another $50 for a wireless controller.

Go with your gut.
