A little scared

Hey I have a question about my xbox, it kinda scared me last night because I put in halo 3 to play it and it comes up with the disc read error, I take the disk out and it has like no scratches on it maybe very minor ones at best. I put it back in and it worked fine, but I guess my question would be is this the biggining of bigger problems or do you guys think its was just a quirk? Has this happened to anyone else and did it just happen once or did something bigger start after that?

This happened to me with one of Tom Clancy's games, it's been 5 months and it didn't happen again.

Ya, this happened to my 1st xbox and a couple months after the thing prety much died and the sad part was it wasent 3 red lights that i got what happend was my graphics card screwed up and all i saw was black dots all over the screen. I ended up calling 4myxbox and they said i couldent have it fixed since it was not 3 red lights so i ended up asking for there manager and went nuts untill they gave in.

But i dont know man maybe you dont have the same problem i had, it coulda just been a one time thing and i dont think the disk drive was what finaly killed my xbox since it was my graphics card that pooped out at the end. Just keep in minde if what happend to me happens to you dont give up till they fix your xbox!!

As others have noted, this happens from time to time. Even if it is the beginning of serious problem, there's probablynothing you can do about it. No need to worry about something you can't influence, right? :)
