a lot of you seem to have not liked GTA IV... should i even get it?

i hear many of you saying GTA IV was very repetitive and boring and there wasn't much to do after a while. I intended to make the purchase in about a week or two after school gets out, but I don't want to make the same mistake I made in buying AC which I found HORRIBLY repeptive and boring after 2 hrs.

Anyways, do you think I should still buy it or get another game instead? (i'm def not getting NG2 though, action games just arent my thing)

Do agree with you about AC, but GTA was worth playing. At least rent it to see if you can get into it. Whether its doing missions(mostly driving and shooting about), racing, goofing around with helicopters, or my favorite thing to do - drive over motorcylist and seeing them fly in the air. :)

I'd recommend atleast renting the game to see if you like it. And then if you do you could buy it.

It's a very good game but after completing the main story it can get a bit repetitive, but you can still go for the 100% or play through it again. And there's always the online play.

Its a great game and the best in the series, if you dont play for 20 hours a day and try to beat it as soon as you can, then itll last a good while.

With that being said, i dont think its a perfect game or a 10/10. But still worth trying and very very solid.

I like GTA IV alot (was a great first 360 game for me). Everyone just has their own opinions on games, so you might like this game alot. I say go ahead and buy it

also it is very long and you will want to play it more then 2 times.

buy it, it's awesome. unless you're the type that plays for 15 hours straight and still complains where the pimp-my-ride shop is.

my cousin bought the game, hasen't even played the 1st mission yet n he already stopped lol said it lost his interest lol, I on the other hand find it a great deal of fun, definitely should try the game atleastLightColor
