A message to Black Ops haters.

Why is there so much hatin' about this game? Yes, I know the graphics arent great but they ain't bad!! The multiplayer is so much better than MW2 because the guns are much better and better maps and not as hurting killstreaks. What's with all the hate?

This. Sometimes when I'm sniping online I fire 2 or 3 shots at someones head only for them all to miss.

I think the "Halo" vs. "Black Ops" arguments are really tiring, and I'm kind of sick of hearing about Black Ops, but if I was going to pick on something kind of poor about the game, it'd definitely be the sloppy hit detection.

I bought the game yesterday and I enjoy it. I think that we as gamers have just gotten really spoiled and don't appreciate greatness when we see it. Also since MW2 was so popular it was hard for them to outdo themselves.

They really should have just waited at least another year. I think its a terrible idea to make another game when the community for your previous game is still so strong. They could have focused on DLC and more precautions against hacking.

The respawns are terrible and was somehow worse than MW2 and I didn't think that was even possible..craigalan23

its cool to hate on whats popular. the only CoD i disliked was Mw2 because of the camping and overpowered killstreaks. they addressed this good in blops with the fact that killstreak kills dont count to your next killstreak, meaning players actually have to work for their chopper gunner.

the only thing i hate about CoD is the fact that it has too much influence on Developers. games like bioshock, uncharted, assassins creed, and dead space have did not need MP. they included it to rake in more cash, and that takes attention away from the SP that needs it. leave the MP to the MP games like CoD and let SP games stay SP.

the real question here is, "why NOT hate on black ops?" first off, it's a filthy CoD game. the only good CoD games were CoD1, 2 & 4. all others were trash, annually made trash. BO is no different. CoD is a blight upon gaming, and the very thing that i hoped gaming would NOT become. you people that keep buying these garbage CoD games should be put down like dogs.

because the CoD series is a cheat and glitch fest plus after7 next gen offerings nothings changed that much.

even host is caused to lag by how the game deals with players with a poor connection (CoD, the only game where lag switching off host gives you an advantage )

I really enjoy Black Ops. Although, I'm also the kind of person that adjusts his expectations based on what I'm playing. I look at Call of Duty games the same way I look at say, a Michael Bay film. It will have great special effects, explosions, and fancy action sequences but I'm certainly not expecting a good story, memorable characters, or anything more than cinematic bubblegum.

So when I play a Call of Duty game I expect to be playing a game that is more or less on-rails, with a story that is disposable and when I play online I don't care about my K/D ratio, I don't even care if I place well in the match. I don't care about balance issues, hit-detection, glitches, campers, bad respawns or anything else like that. I just want to go out there, shoot some people and have a good time. If I get killed 3 seconds after respawning, oh well. If I empty a clip into somebody and they still managed to kill me, oh well, maybe I'll get them next time.

I think that if more people just played the game to play it for fun and not take it so seriously there would be less COD haters out there. So in short, lighten up people!

I think the reason it gets so much hate is because it's over rated. I don't mean by the community here, or even by critics, but I have friends who think Black Ops is the best game ever, they said that about Modern Warfare 2 last year, World at War the year before that, and finally the original Modern Warfare three years ago.

I admit the game is good, and I don't say I hate it when I'm on forums or talking to someone who knows better (I don't care if Call of Duty is your favourite game, however I think it's impossible for it to be the "best game ever" every year it comes out) But when I talk to fanboys I generally point out bad things and mention good things in other shooters to knock them down a peg or two.

I'm fine if it's your favourite game, or how great you think it is, I just hate it when people are ignorant and say the game is perfect.

I have been playing Black Ops non-stop since it came out, yesterday my friend asked me if I wanted to play grifball on Reach with him so I said sure. I went on and right away I noticed the fun I was having on Reach was 20x more then on Black Ops. I'm always so paranoid in Black Ops... when I die I get really pissed but in Reach even if I'm getting spawn killed I don't rage and I'm still having fun.o0Pwnzorz0o

One of the few things they need to improve the community is to do the MP like Halo....I know *sigh, gasp* what? Have a set-up where players be set into different servers based on their past performance. I think it would be a hell of a lot better.

I seem to run into Robocop sporting a 10 foot blade almost every match, he must just like cutting me from a distance and shooting you point blank LOL.

Black Ops is better then MW2 for one reason , lack of powerful killstreaks ... CoD4/WaW had Jugg/Stop Pwr which made the game more balanced and more gun fights... so easy to get a kill on here now

CoD4 and WaW aren't balanced. None of the CoD games, 4 and after, are balanced.

Besides, Stopping Power was incredibly stupid. The game made it feel so mandatory, and everyone else used it.

the thing is hit detection like chaos said, sometimes its due to connection, like for example, ill be using a FAMAS and so will my enemy, i start firing first and he kills me, i know for a fact i hit them more than was needed and yet i get killed because of the connection. i sometimes drop instantly when being shot by a silenced commando at med - long range which is BS in my opinion. i strangely cant stop playing this game but i effing hate it :L

1. All the guns in that game are GARBAGE.

2. Taking out Stoping Power was a mistake.

3. Graphics=Joke.

4. I did not like the Create a Class 2.0

I will say that i love the wager matches.

Hey,I loved princesses pony. jk but out of all seriousness this game is one of my favorite game. people need to stop being critics and enjoy the game for what it is. if you don't like the formula then don't get call of duty games.(that is my heads up for all ofyou complainers. it can stop the nose bleeds)
