No, they didn't. A journalist jokingly brought it up and Bungie teased the idea which brought about a lot of speculation. Do I think that the new game announced will be a new Halo game? Yes, but they did not announce it.

That said, I hope I'm wrong; I really do not want to see another Halo game. If there is an announcement of a new 360 game I hope it is some sort of an original IP or a sequel to an original Xbox game. Or even a PS3 exclusive coming to the Xbox 360. I don't need anymore Halo.

Edit They didn't cancel it its still going to be released but Microsoft wouldn't let them show it At E3 So there will be a new bungie game but it won't be shown

I actually got a good realistic prediciton. It could be Duke Nukem 3D for the XBL, it has not officially been announced yet. Or it could also be something like GoldenEye for the XBL or something. Anyways, those are a couple ideas I got, but who knows.kaycon11
