If Peter Jackson and Halo studios are really working on something along those lines I think gamers everywhere would be in for a huge treat.

I think a new Halo experience on the Xbox 360 would be great.
Think back to Halo 1... it came out as a launch title and came nowhere close to utilizing the Xbox's power.
Then Halo 2 came out and it actually looked like 4 times better.
Halo 3 was looked good, but a Halo 4 would look so much better now... It might be what many nay-sayers call a next-gen looking game.

Problem with your statement is that not only was Halo 3 not a launch game, but it came out well into the console's lifetime. And it would take more than a graphics overhaul for me to buy another Halo game.

I am well aware that it wasn't a launch game, but it was early in the console cycle. And I also agree that a bit more innovation couldn't hurt anyone, but you can't blame them for sticking with their proven game-selling formula.

Oh no of course not, it would take a stronger perosn than me to take that kind of financial risk.

oh your mocking me now?
I may not be in the game business, but I am pretty sure that if I had a game studio with a game that people want, I would give them more of that game instead of another. Yes, it is about money... its always about money. If you don't want Halo, go play something else and quit complaining.

Easy buddy, no mockery intended. That was a completely serious statement.
