I usually install my games on the hard drive. After I introduce the disc in my console it starts to rotate and then stops because the game is installed. When i finish playing I exit the game(menu button and then Y for the dashboard) and then the disc starts to rotate again for a few seconds untill the dashboard appears. And here comes the problem. It just doesn't fell right. Maybe it's normal but i wanted to see if it does the same to you.

Actually , everything you are experiencing in very normal yes installing the game to your hard drive is to make life easier on the disc drives laser , rather than consistently reading the disc throughout your playing time . And yes when you return back to the dashboard from playing a game you will hear the console read the disc again and that is just a "check up" procedure to check and make sure you have a game in there so it is able to display to you what game is in there. This is because the console always prepares itself for the future to make your loading times faster and such. See ya and happy gaming from StayFr0sTy :D
