As far as I am aware, there is no reward for it. The only difference is you get a different little symbol thing.

You don't HAVE to do prestige first of all. At lvl 55, if you get about 1500 expierence more, you're given the choice, and you keep repeating that rpogress all the way up to the tenth, although you don't have to advance from 1 to another if you don't want.

Also, when you do prestige, you lose everything and you get a new badge that changes every time you progress. As far as i know, the only thing you keep is the ability to be able to play in any game mode you want.

I agree, it adds replayability to your online expierence. At lvl 55, would you really want to spend all your time and exp meaning nothing?

My queston is about the game matching system.

When you start over at Prestige 1 Rank 1 will the game put you up against other people that are Prestige 1 Rank 1 or does it put you up against anyone that is Rank 1 ignoring what Prestige level they are at? I want to have a challenge of getting all the weapons and perks over, but I still want to play against challenging players. thanks for the help!

The game is smart, it will KNOW that you prestiged and you will try to be matched against players around your rank. Of course I am the green symbol ( Prestige 4 ) and every now and then I will still get put with a first time around rank, so of course you still will see that every now and then. So the short answer is you will be challenged, dont worry about that.

Do you mean that if you go prestige mode you will lose all the weapons that is unlocked and all the challenges you've done?

Yes you lose everything as if you just started the game. Except for the ability to join any match, and your clan tag. All challenges will also reset to start over again. And the game doesnt put you in rooms with people of the same rank as you. It puts you in rooms with people who have the same skill level. Such as people with the same kill/death ratio.

Aside from a new symbol, you do not get anything. Though staying at 55 can be pretty boring, imo. I find the build up and aquisition of new weapons very fun. Also, I heard that when you get to 55 at the max prestige two new perk slots (that are currently empty) appear. IW may add something there. I would personally like to see a perk that allows you to put two attatchments on a weapon.
