A question about Project Natal

Can somebody explaine to me what it is??

I read articles on it lately and saw a picture but the picture was of an xbox 360 and the was just some other black box underneath it.

So i'm a bit confused about what it is used for and what it is at all. Can somebody please explain it to me?

Project Natal is a 3D/Infrared/Motion Camera all-in-one and allows Xbox 360 owners (and eventually PC owners) to play games without a controller.

Basically its this camera/sensor/microphone that chills by your tv and apparently you can play games with your body alone. No controllers whatsoever. It's like the wii sensor bar but I would assume more advanced. I don't think Natal will truly live up to the hype. It also has a hefty asking price. (to me at least) I believe last time I heard it was going to be ($100-$200).
