There have been a few price drops in the past, but it keeps going back up to $99. It used to be $140 when it came out so it's not that bad anymore.

I just bought a second wireless router and created a wireless bridge. If you are computer/tech savvy at all you can get the same for $50.

I get coupons from GameStop through email by having an EDGE card. The current coupon is for an extra 20% (which will stack with your 10% off edge card for 30% off if you have the card) off of used games or accessories. I can send you the coupon via email if you want one, as it doesn't matter if you have the EDGE card or not. If you don't have an edge card, the coupon will make it $56.00 If you do have an edge card, the coupon will make it $49.00 If you want the coupon, PM me you email address and I'll send it to you... it's a .jpg I think. EDIT: The coupon expires 10/2, so let me know soon.

$140 when was that? I bought one when they first came out and it was only $100 always has been to my knowledge exception to sale prices by certain stores for a week or so.

As for the OP just wait for a sales price drop some where though there are many alternatives including the original xbox's wireless adapter which you can find for around $50 or less which works perfectly with the 360 (I had one), there are also a couple third party wireless adapters on the market you can find at walmart for $60 as well, and if you really want an official 360 wireless adapter then check ebay used ones work just as good.

I've been using my laptop too, but it would disconnect every 15 minutes. Any suggestions?

doesnt happen to me so I might not help but try putting the router att. horizontal for best top to bottom coverage of vertical for best side to side coverage I think (might of mixed it up) depending on where your laptop is. Check the status of your connection via your laptop and close any program that might suck up bandwidth.
