Well my 2nd 360 broke just two months after i got it back and I sent it in last week on a Monday.

Last time I sent it in they sent me a comnfirmation e-mail that they had recieved my 360 in their repair center.

Now it's been over a week and I have not recieved any e-mail, did they stop sending these confirmation e-mails or is my 360 lost somewhere in the world?

I live in North Hollywood, CA... I heard of people from the east coast getting their 360's back within a month. I know i'm stupid but I'm pretty sure California is closer to Texas than the east coast to Texas(repair center).

If you already sent it in, you should have a tracking number from UPS that you can use to see where your xbox is. I just got my xbox back from microsoft today(5 weeks after it broke! I live in NJ), and never once received any emails of any sort from them. Just use the ups tracking number to see where it is, and if you don't have one and believe that MS already has your xbox, just give them a call and you can find out the status on your repair.

It is not unheard of for the xbox to get "lost". A friend of mine had his in for repair, and Microsoft sent it back to him but he never got it. Could be that some UPS or postal employee is very happy with a new xbox 360, or it could be that it really did get lost somehow. Either way, they are sending him another xbox360, so the only negative affect it has towards him is the wait.

Yea, I went to check the repair status on mine and it says "no repair pending".... I wonder what that's supposed to mean, maybe it's lost. I called and the guy basically couldn't help me out. He just said "it's probably in line", nice. And he spelled out everything he was writing on my claim, so annoying! "Customer ..s-t-o-m-e-r-... checked ...k-e-d.. status ...t-a-t-u-s..."

Sometimes they forget, or it takes longer for them to receive, I didn't get my e-mail the 2nd time until 2 weeks after I sent it in.

I seriously doubt that it's lost, but if you're still worried, you could just give Xbox support a call.

3 days, 3 weeks, a month?! man... I just sent mine in for repairs and with all the great games coming out this will be no easy wait.
even ifMS makes a few slip ups in tracking numbers and such, you would think with all the traffic and repairs they'vebeen doing latelythey would have this down to a science :|
