What number Xbox are you on now now being that christmas has come and gone? I read the (read before posting sticky) this time but I don't think this would apply to the broken 360 sticky does it because I'm asking about your broken 360s but what number 360 you are currently on right?
I had my console since launch and during the summer i had a problem with the video being washed out. Supposively the GPU on the 360 was worn out so i had to send it in for repairs. Other than that, i have never had a problem with the RRoD or with the console to be exact. After getting it back from repairs, it now runs much quieter and it deosn't heat up as much as it used too.
My first is undergoing repair right now. I can't play any of the new games I got for christmas. No Saint R%ow 2 no Fable2 No gears 2 and no SVR 2009 I'd be playing them now if I could it's a sad sad day today.

it's more of a waste of time I mean as long as you don't induce the damage yourself or it's Rrod type #1 (the I need an entirely new system one) they fix it for free.
My first 360 was a launch console and it lasted all the way until September of this year when the video just stopped working. Out of it's warranty and not covered by the RROD warranty I had to go buy another one. I'm actually happy that I got the new one because it comess with HDMI and the cooler chip.

you have 2 weeks at the most I was in a similiar situation.
I've been a 360 owner for just under 2 years and I've had 3 broken consoles, all RROD. My 360 just froze during Fable 2 so I wouldn't be surprised if I get another one soon.

that's bad I had mine for a year and exactly two weeks after the year I start noticing rrod
I now own my second complete Xbox, but I had to repair my first one three times (first I had to replace the DVD drive, then I got the RRoD twice) now I have the E74 error but I haven't bothered to fix it since I have a new Xbox. So in a sense, I've been through 4 different Xbox consoles.
Im on my first one that i have had for 3 years now i think, needed to go in for repairs once and since it has come back its brilliant. had to have some bits replaced though like the motherboard and disk drive :)
still on my first one. probably because it was brought in '07 so not too old and also because i have kept it stood up all the time. many people i know put it flat and then it overheats. it doesnt look as good stood up next to your tv stand but at least it works.
