A way for MGS4 to be on the 360

In its current form there no way that MGS4 would fit in a DVD, even with blurays large capacity they had to squeeze the game in the disc, the only way to make MGS4 fit in a DVD would be to compress everything which woudn't make the game look incredible like on the PS3.

So I have an idea for those who have a 120gb hardrive maybe konami could make a way so that you could go into a store pay for the game and they would install it into your hardrive, that way we could play MGS4 in its true form and maybe without loading times! Whadaya think?

Konami said if you wanted to play Metal Gear Solid 4, you'd have to buy a PS3.

Yeah, it's possible. I think this is the reason MS wasn't too bothered about supporting a physical HD format and also why they're so gung-ho about downloadable content and games. I'm pretty sure that the next Xbox won't even have a disc drive for games. Also, I think we'll see more and more DLC for games that will get bigger and bigger (think HL2: Episode 3).

Will MGS4 be the game that they do this for? No, highly unlikely. Sony knows that MGS4 is a system seller, and there's no way it's going to come to the 360 any time soon.

Sony would rather pay konami a billion dollars than allow MGS4 to be played on a 360BrokenKnight

The thing here is, a way to get MGS4 to work on a 360 with only the fan's capabilities. If your asking an official release for 360, even if it's possible, Kojima wouldn't do it.

I find it funny how we have so many more exclusives on the 360, and when the one exclusive that is any good on the PS3 that every one knows about every one is trying to think of ways to get it on the 360. God let them have it. It would be stupid for Sony to let it come to the 360 as it is one game that can sell systems and they don't have many of those.LeviLRP

Most of them are pure horse crap!!Only ones that are any good are God of war,Final fantasy and Little Big planet!!Rest are average....

You could always try four-five discs. Lost Odyssey wouldn't have fit on a single-layer Blu-Ray either but the 360 tells the whole story without any sacrifices. Although, I personally don't want MGS4 on the 360 either. It just doesn't seem worth all the trouble it would be for Microsoft to get it... Metal Gear is great, but it's not THAT great.Taegre

the standard of bluray release is moving to dual-layer anyways, so if lost odyssey ever made it to the ps3 it would be on ONE 50gb bluray disc.

It's had high scores from everyone who's reviewed it. It's a real GOTY contender. It's gonna be awesome. The best MGS yet, and the other 3 were amazing.

The game looks great i hope i can get into it. Not the biggest fan of stealth games. Anyway i doubt it'll come to the Xbox 360.

Maybe this guy does not like the MGS games. No matter how high of a score a game gets it is still a matter of opinion on whether some one likes it or not.

But you see he said MGS4 sucks. He's never played it before so how can he know if it sucks. I was pointing out another opinion. An opinion of a person who's actually played it.
