AARGH! whats with the demo downloads?

i have recently been able to hook my xbox to the internet and have been trying to download a bunch of things.  I have always tried to download the Hitman Demo and since i have a slowish(256 k) downloading time, it takes a while to download an 800 MB demo.  I always go to download it and then i have to get off the internet and have to stop it.  Well recently, i spent an hour or two downloading it and got it to about 60%, than while going on to play some Uno, it disconnected me from Live to get an update.  I figured whatever, and i updated it.  When i went to check on how much progress i had gotten since, it said that i was at 11%!!! so i guess when you are downloading something and get disconnected, you have to start all over again.  I was SO pissed.  Its not too big of a deal but i devoted all that time to downloading it and it screwed up.  This must be the 5th time i went to download that and just stopped.  AARGH!

I'm getting mad as well. I started downloading the crackdown demo yesterday at about 7 pm, and at 9 pm it was at 6%. I can't download demos anymore.Trickshot771

yeah, i think it took me 8 hours to download the Crackdown demo, and it was the dumbest one yet (except for The Outfit Demo).  I deleted it from my xbox after playing it twice.

Popular demos download slower because microsoft servers arent able to keep up with the large demande.
