If you were to play straight through. I'm curious to know this because I'd like to keep my Xbox 360 in tip top shape.

Also, will constantly unplugging and plugging the Xbox 360 into the outlet cause any damage over time? I always unplug my things (such as laptop, TV, toaster, etc.) so I'd like to know if this is a habit I need to break.

Oh and while I'm at it, how can you tell if a rechargeable battery pack for the controller is running low?

Thank you for any answers to these questions.

No don't think unplugging it would cause any damage. Probably better for the power supply, infact. You can check battery life by pressing the guide button on your controller, theres a battery life icon in the top left. It really depends on how well ventilated the Xbox is for time to overheat.

IDK. The most ive ever played in a row is like 4 hours, and i had no problems. My xbox just sits on top of the shelf, with nothing within 2 inches from it on any side so it can breath and cool off.
