I've heard many people saying things like
"It got repetitive and boring fast."
Or something to that effect...
This is because the folks at Mistwalker thought it would be a good idea to give you overleveled characters with every skill. Really all this does is make every class and character seem the same. The game is actually very much like Final Fantasy V, in that you'll only master skills when you play as different classes, then you can keep those mastered skills for any other class. This will make each of the characters in your party unique, and won't seem repetitive at all. Demos are supposed to be a good representation of the final product and make you go.
"Holy **** I need this game!"
The Blue Dragon demo was probably a very poor representation of Blue Dragon even though Mistwalker thought it would be a good idea, so I urge anyone who thought it was repetitive to at least give it a rent when August 24 (EU) or 28 (NA) rolls around.
I think Blue Dragon will be amazing but I still thought the demo was awful. If you actually managed to enjoy the demo... well then... you'll really like the full game.
If you were one of the people that said
"The graphics are sub-par."
Then you're crazy because they're amazing. Maybe not technically the best, but definitely good enough. Besides, that's a stupid reason not to like the game anyway.
If you think the voice acting is bad, well you're entitled to your opinion, but honestly, just tell me: How could they be improved?
