about the wireless networking adapter

so i have my xbox 360 downstairs and the internet is upstairs. will the adaptor connect me to online even if my 360 is downstairs and the floor is seperating the internet apart from the adapter?

to really get a good connection get a wireless 'a' compatible router, not many people seem to know this but the 360 adapter is wireless a compatable and that will give the besat connection, i use the wirless g mode though and its still works fine through floors and walls.the1stmoonfly
