Can't see any reason why not. You'll need something for sound, but the picture should work just fine.

It should work but, I would go with a widescreen moniter.

Yea. You can get decent 19" widescreens for about $250 nowadays. And the cables come with a sound adapter for the 3.5mm jack.

If you have speaker for you computer, you have to use them. Just use the input that your computer uses, or if there is a second input use that. If not you need to get a set of powered speakers.

ok this might be stupid but i was wondering if a 5ms response time was descent enough to play on.

oh and you can get a much better monitor than that.... go to dell and buy the 22'' widescreen for 298 or the 20'' for 229

DON'T THE XBOX 360 LOOKS SH!T ON COMPUTER SCREENS, IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ON AN LCD SCREEN JUST MAKE SURE ITS 26" OR BIGGER AND ITS HD READY OTHERWISE ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I SHOULD KNOW I PLAYED IT ON MY 17" SAMSUNG LCD TV AND IT LOOKS SH!T SO I JUST PLAY IT ON MY 28" WIDESCREEN TV WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE THE DOGS

Ok, I'm not really sure why you're looking into buying a 17'' LCD computer monitor for $430 or whatever, when you could buy a 23'' HD LCD TV from a company like Olevia for a little cheaper! Not to mention, that 23'' TV could be used as your Computer screen as well. I went with a 32'' Olevia for $600 and use it for my Computer screen. My boss just went with the 23'' because it was the perfect size for both his gaming and home computer screen. $400 Google OLEVIA LCD TV

Ohhhh ok, makes sense. Yeah, then the sound issue is all you'll have to work on.
