meh? don't let the fact that you can't do stuff you're not even able to do anyways (fly through downtown cities in a fighter jet at mach 2) be the reason you don't like the game, if that's the only reason for the meh.

honestly i have no idea how to play this game, i havent played any of the others and i couldnt figure out who was/how to kill the enemy so i just flew in circles and shot missiles at buildings till id crash

All the enemy planes have boxes surrounding them with the word "Enemy" next to them. You really can't miss them :|

Anyway, the graphics looked great in the screenshots, but I was disappointed to find in the demo that it doesn't look much different from Ace Combat 4 and 5. I mean, yeah, the graphics are better but not as big as an improvement as I was hoping for. Hopefully they'll improve before release since I swear the screenshots looked a thousand times better than what was in the demo. I do like the sound effects of falling glass and metal that you hear when you fly through the debris of a plane you just destroyed though. I'm still looking forward to this game though, especially since it finally has online multiplayer. I can't wait.

BTW, has anyone heard anything more about the flight stick that's getting released with this game? Like, can it work on the PC, can we use a PC flight stick on the 360, and will there be anymore games that support it?

You shouldn't be expecting too much. Every flight game has bee like that, you don't normally fly so low to the ground to notice. They'd be wasting resources trying to load such high-res textures for something you won't normally see. Right now I think it's a good balance, you can get pretty low. If you want something for flying low the ground get the Latest MS Flight Simulator X, a $2000 computer to get to run this smooth, then extra money for super high-res expansion texture packs.

I personally thought it was a terrible game with horrible voice acting and I have seen better graphics on 4 year old PC games. It was not at allwhat I expected it to be. I found myself bored with it.

i loved the demo. no matter what people are gonna say the graphics look bad, because people are retarded (when crysis comes out even then i know pwoplw on here are gonna have threads saying the graphics arent what they expect). i think people that didnt like this demo probably sucked at controlling the plane, were lost in what to do, and got their ass handed to them by enemy fighters. i beat it easy the first and only time i played the demo, but it was a lot of fun.saiyanlarry

Calling people "retarded" for having an opinion other than yours is NO GOOD. The graphics were alright, I really wasn't like OMG NICE, and I found it boring to fly around. Ground textures, alright can't expect it to be high quality without lag yet but the explosions look plain bad. For a game like this they should atleast have everything in the air look good, which most does except for the explosions.

they should've made one super turbo that you go fast as hell or speedup the game and a more detailed ground would be nice.... Not saying that this game isnt great but could be perfect. I would rate it AA and just cause it doesnt have any competitionin modern flight combatgames I might buy it... If any1 knows any competition for this game on 360 feel free to tell..
