I'm going with gamerpoints. Only cause you say what your gamerscore is, and when you get an achievement it just dosn't right saying "yea it was for 20 gamerscore" as apposed to "yea it was 20 gamerpoints."Maidendude

On the xbox website I found http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/d/defenderxboxlivearcade/default.htm Which clearly calls them Gamerpoints.

Just like in any game. When you watch football and they get a touchdown, they get 6 POINTS, which makes the SCORE 6 to 0. You dont say they got 6 SCORE for that touchdown.

yeah, but they are getting that "home cooked feeling" while playing games. that's a bonus no one else can offer.

Oh that is too easy to answer. when you first turn on your XBox fresh out of the box, you have a Gamerscore of 0. Then you play some games and get points.

They're obviously called gamerpoints. How can a single unit be called a "score"? That doesn't make any sense. This is how it works: You total up your Gamerpoints and this gives you your Gamerscore.

Dramatic reenactment: Other guys says "Hey Tom, I got 10 gamerscore today."

Tom replies, "Your gamerscore went down from 2000 to 10?"

Other guy responds, "No silly, I got 10 more score today."

Tom says, "10 more score? WTF are you talking about... do you mean 10 more points?"

other guys says, "Ah, points... yes." *bonks himself on the head*

Edit: Also, think of it like money. Would you say, "Today I got 2 money."? No, you would say, "Today I got 2 dollars." "Dollars" representing "points" and "money" representing "gamerscore".

your all stupid, it blatantly mean "great" - microsoft are all for "character buiding"

"hey, you beat the game and got 75- GREAT!!" or "you have 5750 (cos u beeaten loads of teh games) - GREAT !!"

but yeh, its blatantly gamerpoints, and anyone who thinks otherwise needs a better grasp of english, because "75 Gamerscore awarded" is not that you would called grammatically correct, where as 75 Gamerpoints awarded clearly is. And last time i checked, microsoft tend to check their grammar, otherwise they run the risk of looking "stupid"
