.....i think that if you try to get achievements in games you enjoy, then thats fine....but if if you play games you cant stand just to have a meaningless number to show then theres something wrong with you.....

Yeah, achievements are cool. ThoughI don't prioritize unlocking achievements over enjoyment.

No, no no, only lifeless people will d that, but for halo 3 example i beat the game on legendary but just for achivments i played through heroic and normal, and i played the point stuff for those and waisted my time on all the sculls for that, it adds alot of play time to the games

Your opinions about the being achievement hores being lifeless matters not to me. i love to get achievements. Some achievements make you strive to be better at a game like attaining a certain score. Sure many achieves are ridiculous like doing something 50 times but i could care less.

I find achievements to be a nice little rewarding feeling, but not enough to actually play a game any longer than I find it interesting. it is a nice differentiator if I am trying to decide between a PS3 version of a game or a 360 version, but it isn't enough for me to pick the 360 version of the PS3 version has, for example, slightly better framerates.

honestly I think achievements ruin games especially multiplayer games everyone mostly say "IM GOING for the Sniper Achievement." So im glad that COD4 didn't have any multiplayer achievements cause that would ruin the game. Oh yeah and Im a Achievement Whore but only if you knew.

I probably have the lowest achievement score amount out of all of my friends....and i'm fine with that. I enjoy the idea of achievements and i feel happy when i get one (by accident....i usually dont say "hey! today i'm going to get this achievement"). Plus it is kind of cool to be the only one out of all your friends to have a certain achievement that no one else has. But going out of your way just to get a number is stupid, especially if that game is boring (or if you are playing on the easiest difficulty).

All in all achievements bring out the worst and the best of people.

im not really obsessed with earing them, but they do add so much replay value to games that i dont think I would have as much fun on a game without them.

i guess i am one.it just give you something more to do.i also would like harder ones not like beat the stage and get points.more like dead rising ones.actual things that probably wouldnt happen when you play a game.

Yes I am kinda. Well I used to be a big one. When my gamerscore rocketed from 500-3000 in a week a while back. Now I am kinda out of that phase, but I still love that sound. I am not at 6580 I beileve. I hope one day I will get 10k but I can really care less now but it is a very high whorey feat to get lol.

Same :D its not a bad thing to be an achivment whore, its just showing that your somewhat of a perfectionist and enjoy betting every aspect of a game and proving you have a lot of skill, i encourage being an achivment whore =]

I'm definitely not. I'll play a game through normal, then be done with it and play the multiplayer. Achievments either show how good you are at a game, or how little a life you have to play the game so damn much.

I really don't like Multiplayer achievements, I love single player ones though.
