Does anyone here have a Wii as a secondary system to go along with their 360? Do you ever play the Wii, or does it just gather dust? I am debating getting a Wii while my 360 is out getting fixed for the RROD, so who knows how long I will be without my console. Is it worth it or not? Considering the 360 4th quarter lineup, I am worried I will be wasting $250 bucks on the Wii. Any advice would be great.

I bought the Wii to accompany my 360.

Im very disappointed. For the first few weeks the wii was the best thing that ever happened to me. And for one week wii sports seemed to be the best game ever created.

But now I realised i've only bought a glorified gamecube that gets nothing but party games more aimed at my 4yr old nephew.

So yes my Wii has began to collect dust and I only EVER touch it when friends come over and they insist to play a few games. There are in my opinion absolutely no games in which you can sit down on your own and have a nice lengthy gaming session. It all seems to be about playing some odd minigame here and there, and dont tell me theres Zelda twiligh princess, that game bored me to death. So in my opinion its still a waste of $250.

I would recommend the PS3 as a second console, that way you're going to get everything you want this gen.

It really depends on what you like to play.

I have a Wii and a 360. I definitely play my 360 a lot more than my Wii. Although, I will be picking up Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3:Corruption, and the other Nintendo exclusives when they come out.

There are a lot of good fourth quarter games coming out this year, but if you can afford all of the games that you want and a Wii, then I'd say it is definitely something you should look into.

But, if you like games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, saving your money for that might be a good choice too, because those are going to cost at least an arm, maybe a leg too!

GO back to your old consoles again. I beat OoT again and MM and since my boc was only gone 19 days, i only had like 2 days of layover.

I love both, but the Wii came before the 360, so the 360 is the little brother ;) I'm only on my first Wii, though -_- Both consoles are great and worth abuy.

i got my 360 and Wii on their launches...Wii has been collecting dust, but that will stop once Metroid's released next month.

I would recommend waiting until next year

What about buyinga Wii now to flip on EBAY when the holliday season arrives. Do you guys think the Wii demand will still be crazy high and hard to come by this winter? Or is Nintendo going to capitalize on their buzz and flood retail stores with consoles to meet the holliday demand.

I am sorry if I turned this into a Wii thread, I didn't mean to at all. Just debating if it is worth picking up a wii to add to my primary system, sell it, or just avoid it all together.

I roll with a Wii60, its easily the best for your money if your getting a combo of the 3 systems. I do play the 360 much more than the wii, mainly due to a far superior online program (downloading demos, movies, tv shows is a blast), however I have beated TP twice and am almost done with super paper mario and just got home from buying RE4 :-). When Galaxy and Brawl come out, however, I'll be playing a lot of wii. That said lots of awesome games are coming to 360/PC/PS3 and I will be playing a lot of 360 and PS3 as well. Also, as soon as I finish upgrading my computer, I'm going to start my PS3 fund :-).
