Advice on my Wireless Headset

I got a brand new wireless headset from my friend which he wore once.. It works perfectly and it was worth it, but my problem is that I sound very far from my mic. Idk wats going on and I need help on fixing this prob.

My other 2 friends both have wireless mics and they sound perfect like if they had a wired one

they are finiky little things, thats it. Mine works good, but my brothers didnt, so he used the Wired one, then he got the Turtle Beach headset and laughs at me now.
