Most of the missions are the same, hide behind a rock and shoot, a bunch of boring fetch missions with nothing rewarding about them, the same old dumb music, annoying that i have to keep tapping A to run with the horse. its getting really really boring and i have like no interest at all in finishing it. anyone else feels the same way?

Its honeslty not amazing at all, please tell me whats so amazing about it? tell me now.... EVERY single mission feels the same like it did in gta 4. all you do is go from wall or rock to rock shooting people in every mission. the "side missions" are annoying as hell with the same old "oh he stole my horse go get him". the towns are boring, the map is boring. its very overrated, the graphics are nothing special, its just not very fun anymore, im 16 hours through it and dont feel like finishing it. dead eye is for no skilled 4 year olds, the online is crap. i mean nothing about this game feels good anymore. when i first started it it was fun for about an hour or so, untill i realized that all the missions feel exactly the same. Im not trying to bash this game by any means, i just dont see what was so amazing about it to begin with.

I enjoyed the single player for the most part. Some of the missions were just boring though. Like the ones where you have to "herd" cattle or lasso and "break" horses. Those were extremely tedious and boring to me. A lot of the missions were good fun though.

The ending is what ruined the game for me. I hated the ending. I've only played the game twice since finishing it. The game is just boring now. I played it a little bit today trying to get into it but couldn't. I feel like there is nothing left to do. I've completed a bunch of gang hideouts. Hunted a bunch of bears, deer, etc.. played poker (which is fun, but I'd rather just play it on Poker Stars :P) I might start playing it again one day, but not anytime soon.

I went back to GTA IV already. Much more fun than RDR.

I think it's great. The action is brutal and the story is turning out to be pretty engaging.hillelslovak

I like the game, the missions feel different in a wierd sort of way and just going out and doing bad stuff is fun, robbing banks, stoping trains, putting women on train tracks:P. The random missions are fun too, I feel that it gives the game a more lively feel, like I can be part of the game and never stop being part of the game, I never liked GTA anyway but maybe I will have to try it again someday just to compare the game to RDR but right now I am hooked of RDR. Alos, how can you say that the graphics are average, I think they are pretty good, are you playing the PS3 version, I think you may be in the wrong forum partner, PS3 fanboys go on the link just below.:P

It is what you make it out to be...i think the missions offer quite a bit of variety...random events...such as a woman who looks innocent asking for a ride, but instead of just getting on your horse she suddenly throws you off your horse and starts riding away...criminals running from lawmen and a man begging you to save his wife from being hanged are just a few examples...you can go hunting..which is quite enjoyable or rob trains and unwary travelers...the missions are diverse enough as to not get repetitive...one you're riding and shooting, another you're mowing down foes with a gatling gun...you can have duels against arrogant townsfolk and help shopkeepers and civilians as well as strangers...each mission revolves around your choices...and then there's horseshoes,poker,blackjack and a few other minigames as well as bounties..which you can choose to capture alive or dead..then there are jobs such as breaking in wild horses and walking around town serving as the town watch...and the music consists of different songs as well...but you could always turn it off too....

All in all i think it may not be your type of game....because you have seriously overlooked many of the things that make this game interesting and enjoyable to play...

Well that is an interesting way of robbing a bank, I am a fan of kidnapping, I usually try to take the back door, hogtie the banker, crack the safe, put the banker on the back of my horse, and ride away, then when I am in an isolated area I execute the banker with a shot to the head while he is still hogtied. I once kidnapped a random guy in New Auston and deported him to Mexico:twisted:.

I love Red Dead Redemption. I beat the Single Player, working on Challeneges and Achievements. Multiplayer can be boring and frustrating at times.

There is something wrong with my horse I think...Once when I whistled for him he never came so I went to the Blue dot only to find he was locked in a cell in the Sheriff's office:shock:...Another time I whistled for him only to find him on the back of a Wagon:?...Other than my Glitchy horse the game is great.

I think it's amazing. Best game I've played in a long while. It's all down to opinion though, TC just seems to be in the minority, like me & MGS4. I don't find the missions in RDR repetitive & the combat is fluid & awesome, yet found the combat in MGS4 repetitive & clunky. The story is no doubt good & deep, but the cut scenes are way too long. My point is, the game got a 10 here at Gamespot, yet I didn't think it was that great, but I can see why people love it. It's a shame you can't do the same in regards to RDR.

Yeah, seriously, if the graphics on RDR are nothing special than I want to know which games on the Xbox 360 that are better looking than RDR, RDR is definately up there for one of he best looking 360 games so far in my opinion.
