Alan Wake???Anybody Know?

I heard about this title a couple of months ago and have seen some videos but after that there is not much else. Does anyone know what its about or when it is due to be released?

This is one game i seriously cant wait for! It has the potential to be a masterpeice. Probably get it on pc though for user made mods.

I think ill preorder this game on PC and 360, so i can get my cousin a copy aswell.
