Aliens: Colonial Marines

I noticed at Gamestop today that they had this game being released on 10/7/08. Anyone else really excited? And yes, I know its probably gonna suck so lets get that outta the way first. Aliens is one of my all-time favorite movies. I always thought playing as the ill fated marines would be awesome and it looks like I'll get my chance. Gamespot really doesn't have any info on it. Has anybody else heard anything?

i am really excited about this game i love evrything about the aliens universe (still playing avp2) i have hunted everywhere but can't find anymore info on this game,sorrydelta3074

All I have seen is some a few limited screen shots of the game. It "looks" awesome. With great lighting effects.

I'd like to see a gameplay video though. If it is indeed by the people that made brothers in arms, i'd expect two things, one that the game is awesome, with great AI - and two, that the game will be heavily delayed!

I'm still waiting for hells high way!!!! At one point Amazon had novermber (2007!) as the release date. That came and went, and it got changed to march 2008 - that came and went and now i have no idea when its due for release.....and i've started to lose interest now

Seriously guys, until a company officially announces a release date for its game, release dates on retailer websites are just placeholders and are usually nowhere near right.

When an official date comes out it will be listed on GS or IGN or any other gaming site. If you read it there, it's probably right. If not, take it with a pinch of salt.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is listed as TBA on GS.

I hope its similar to AvP2, which was amazing for the PC. :D
