All I want to do is beat up hookers...

I'm having a hard time convincing my parents to let me purchase an Xbox. I wasn't really all that anxious for GTA but when I saw the perfect 10 review I began to think "Hey, I have tons of money from birthday and graduation.)

But my parents are...jaded. Jaded? Maybe the wrong word, but I've tried my best to convince my dad to let me get it. It's mainly due to the fact that I have a Wii...but all I want to do is buy a couple of the better games (mainly GTA) and beat up hookers :(

Have any ideas on how to persuade him?

Just explain to your dad that the game will be a great introduction into the real world for you, and by that I mean how harsh the real world is.

In all honesty though, you really shouldn't have GTA at your age. The amount of violance and course language in the game is nothing that a young lad like you should be exposed too. Just stick with your wii, no offence against the wii, I absolutely love that system. If you want a good game which is similiar to GTA I suggest getting the godfather game and Driver Parralel Lines.

lol we all hate immature gamers, but i think that's the new force is driving the gaming industry. I bet you at least a quarter of the copies of GTA were INDIRECTLY sold to kids under 17. When i mean indirectly, i mean getting their parents to buy it, getting their older friends to buy it, etc. There is always a loophole for everything hahaha

Here in New England we go 1st to 6th

then 7th and 8th is middle school

and then highschool
