i just got done looking at the new video an im just shocked i had no clue it was going to look that good the gameplay is really next gen all i can say is Wow,what did you guys think?
Yeah, I watched the video as well. Madden is in for a real hurting Imo!! NFL license or not, APF 2K8 looks to be picking up right where ESPN NFL 2K5 left off except with Next Gen visuals and gameplay!!! I wonder if APF 2K8 will have online play? Kind of a dumb question, but if it is as good as it always was back in the day, then Madden is done!!!
Can't wait for this game. One question though, every retailer and games site has this listed to be released on 7/16, but on On the Spot the developers said it would be the end of July. Can anyone confirm a specific release date?
I was starting to expect the worst with the lack of media, but WOW, the sideline interaction, Elways unique throwing motion, the deep uniform customization, the running animationa. Absolutely awesome, I didn't think it was possible, but I'm actually more excited for this game than I was when it was announced to be in production.

I thought even the 2K publicist said July 16th, but maybe their pushing it back to avoid NCAA or maybe he just meant July 16th seeing as it's in the latter half of the month, although just barely. I would expect some confirmation soon though with the media blitz starting to pick up.
Madden is blah. NFL 2k5 is better than any Madden ever was. Before that year, Madden had always outsold the 2k series (and been a usually inferior product), but that year about as many people bought NFL 2k5 as Madden 05 (especially since it was cheaper in price, along with being a better game). EA Sports felt threatened so they signed an exclusivity deal with the NFL, ruining it for all sports gamers in the process and rendering themselves into a company satisfied with making average-at-best NFL games since nobody else can make one. Without competition, EA felt they could release relative trash and people would eat it up. And that's exactly what happened. Good thing 2K Sports wasn't about to lay down for too long.
All-Pro Football 2k8 will be superior to Madden 08 because, quite simply, 2K Sports is superior to EA Sports at making NFL (and NBA) games. The fact that it looks like 2k8 will look and play amazingly is just about the most unsurprising thing ever. And I can't wait to break some ankles and devour some souls with Barry Sanders, personally.
I seriously have no idea why there's so many sport fans. I personally find no interest and no point of view on how people can get so over excited in sport games like soccer, football, tennis and all that, I really find it boring - must be just me.
