Alone in the Dark, thoughts?

What do you guys think of it?

I read a lot of reviews and basically everyone says the game sucks.. but a comment i read of someone who said the game is actually good and requires you to think changed my mind about buying it. So i did, and so far the games seems good, the controllers are a little bit dumb but you get used to after 10 min, i think that guy was also right when he said that gamers are now used to play crappy sequels over and over again.

My thoughts on Alone in the Dark:

I would say that Alone in the Dark is definitely worth getting. I really liked the demo and played it many times, so I bought it and I am almost finished with it.
To me it is a really great game that is alot of fun, very original, really different, and is such a refreshing change from every other games out right now. Alone in the Dark is easily a 9 out of 10.

You're right since they never leave the good parts of games out of their demos. They make sure the best stuff is in there.

hmm i actually liked the game, i mean yeah it has its issues (most of all the driving, OMG I HATE IT!) but the thing that made me like it is the item combining, i sure had alot of fun with that. All in all i guess it depends on what you're looking for, its not an fps so dont expect something like FEAR or Battlefield (with zombie ish things).

Have you guys heard of eBay? You can get it there for alot cheaper then at retail stores, like I got it for $29.99 and that was brand-new and sealed. If you really wanted it you would have looked there and already bought it like I did.

if i found it for like 5 or 10 then id get it lol but i rented it and its a pain im at the first driveing lv and the game gets all glitchy really bad and the driveing it really hard which is kinda good and bad i just got so mad at it im takeing it back today.ps3killer89

The driving is horrible. Like I said, I think they released the game w/o testing it as they were in a dire need of money. I think they weren't expecting Alone in the Dark and DBZ to sell so well.

dbz would have been amazing if it had just had more guys in it and a longer story like the other dbz game that was relesed be4 the newest one that was the best one i think and it had like over 60 people to play as ps3killer89

Yea, plus the story was horribly done. If you never watched DBZ you probably had no clue what was going on.

I actually liked the demo and picked up the game on Saturday. Not touched it yet though apart from checking it loaded as I'm currently playing Too Human
