Alright guys. How are you getting 1 hit bashes in Halo 3???

I've been playing the MP mode in Halo 3 ever since it was released. I noticed that a lot of players can somehow "dash" forward and bash me once without shooting me at all and get the kill. How is that possible? I know you can get 1 hit bashes from the back or even the side of a player but the front? I always have to bash someone twice from the front. What gives?

Also, there is a glitch that will give you a 1 hit melee kill. I've only seen it posted around and haven't tried it so i can't say if it actually works but it is out there. P.S. Don't glitch.

How about instaed of asking for a link to a glitch, you just practice untill you get better? I don't know, I thought earning your kills might be a novel concept.

Yeah... I think some people do it so smooth that it seems like it's one hit but they shoot you first then they quick hit.. like me.atreyu27

i think if you jump up and melee the other person in the head it kills em in 1 hitstrokersmoker07

This happens a lot to me. I find that I'm shooting at a guy (and he has NOT shot me) then I go forward, melee him, but at the exact same moment he somehow has an "0mg CRITICAL STRIKEZORZ" melee attack on me and my full shield quickly turns into a one-hit kill.

I don't know how they do it... but it happens a lot. Still, I'm sure people have complained about me 1 hitting them too, so who knows. Try watching replay videos (that's what I've done) and you'll see that there were extenuating circumstances... such as someone hitting you from behind, or your shield wasn't as high as you thought it was, ect.

Then again, they could just be exploiting glitches :P.

Its not a glitch, if they hit you in the back then your dead with one hit. If they hit you in the face with one hit, then your shield is obviously down a bit and thats how they are killing you. More than likely, your not looking at your shield when you have an enemy up in your face so your not noticing it.

I agree.. some people jump and hit which is a one hit kill.. There are a lot of ways to kill someone in 1 hit.

I have find myself in the same situations sometimes shoot someone and melee him and he does not die and he melees me withouth shoting and get the kill.

That would be those people who use the Shotgun, or Mauler, and shoot and melee within the same second or two. This would cause a glitch so to speak causing you to be able to shoot and melee at the same time. Instant death.R0SSMATHIS
