Hi.

I want to connect my netgear wgr614v7 with my wireless adsl/modem/router linksys wag200g so i can have wireless xbox live in my xbox360. How exactly do that? From some articles i read i must do a firmware update to my netgear so i make it receiver client.

Where i can find that firmware for my netgear and how exactly do the settings after the firmware update.

Linksys wag200g -> netgear wgr614v7 -> xbox360

A lot of thanks.

...Yeah, I don't know. Truthfully though, your best option is wired. Wireless sucks for gaming, great for internet browsing, don't get me wrong... but Gaming.... just plain terrible...unless you're sitting right on top of the router.

Err... no. My wireless xbox network adapter works excellent, haven't had any problems at all (except Gears of War multiplayer but that don't really count :p )

I would say, 7 out of 10 people would prefer a wired console rather than wireless. How far do you play away from the router or is your router a top of the range one?

Router is upstairs, xbox downstairs. 4-5 meters maybe.

....then in your case, the router is sitting atop of you. Never the less though, when I went wireless, every time my partner turned on the microwave or the heating, the wireless strength would just drop like a bucket of nails. I've never liked wireless, maybe for some people it works, but I much prefer having a cable, hidden of course.
