as ppl have said he has a gun...and also biotic powers if u chose to go that way so he could well, just put altair into a lift, shoot him a few times then hit him with a throw...
Shepard has a gun, so he would win. Now, if Altiar were to sneak up on shepard, then altiar would win,, but in a staight up fight, gun beats stealth every time.
LOL! i thought you guys meant Shephard from Opposing Forces, i think HE would beat the other shephard and Altair. That was the only character i knew named Shephard on a first name basis. I think Mass Effect looks cool, though i'm more of an action junkie than a sci-fi type. I prefer bullets to lasers.
Dude Altiar would win easily, he has agility and stealth. Altiar is unstopable in CQB. Although Shepard has a gun Altiar is deadly with throwing knives and lets not forget he can blend in with crowds.

No offense but you definitly didnt think before making this thread. In Altair's time there was no guns or magic. Lets just put it this way, once shepard pulls his guns and biotics out, altair better use that speed and RUN!

LOL, Altair will fall off a building and get attacked by a drunk guy while being asked for some money from homeless people. Sam would probably be too busy laughing to end his miserable life.
